As an accredited Mental Health Social Worker and registered counsellor/trauma therapist, I use therapeutic modalities that move beyond symptom management to address underlying root causes. I work with clients struggling with mood and anxiety disorders and shame/low self worth. I have a special interest in the impact and treatment of trauma, including working with PTSD, attachment/relationship issues and sexual assault/abuse. I am an EMDRAA accredited EMDR therapist and use this empirically validated and clinically endorsed (WHO, APA and Medicare) flexible approach along with Mindfulness, DBT, CPT, CBT, ACT, Schema & Ego State therapies to help meet your goals. I have a clinical background in public mental health services, family violence and sexual assault counselling services.
