G'Day, I’m Amanda a Neuro affirming , heart centred Clinical Counsellor and Gestalt Psychotherapist. If you are feeling stuck, experiencing emotional pain or turmoil or are having trouble working things out I would love to meet you and hear about your unique experience. I have worked with individuals struggling with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, domestic and family violence, trauma, grief , betrayal trauma, parenting difficulties and ptsd. I have a special interest in working with children & teenagers and their parents. I also support those who have experienced narcissistic abuse .
I practice with a relational, trauma informed approach. You will be met with empathy, curiosity and heart .I use a range of evidence-based psychological treatments to support my practice. These include Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and Play Therapy for children.
