I'm a certified Art Therapist and Accredited Mental Health Clinician-Medicare Provider. I work with children, teens and adults within a mental health and well-being context. I strive to support my clients with difficulties such as Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depression, Learning Difficulties, Parental Stress. I'm also a Play Attention Neurofeedback practitioner and work with children and teens on ADHD related difficulties. I'm an Authorised SIRA provider and offer workcover counselling, Victim Services Counselling and psychology services with NDIS. I have a strengths based approach & adopt the Recovery Model.
With over 20 years experience in working within the public and private health sector, I have developed strong interpersonal and engagement skills that help my clients to make the best out of therapy. My clients enjoy speaking about their concerns in a safe, non judgemental, nurturing environment where we explore the past and work with the present together.
Coming to see an empathic and experienced professional is often a huge relief for parents. Although children may be resistant at first, a highly engaging therapeutic environment offering play, art, yoga, mindfulness often works through that resistance very quickly. Children soon come to love their therapy experience because they can feel the benefits quickly
