I am a registered psychologist with several years of experience helping clients with a number of issues, including depression, anxiety, bullying, stress, grief and loss, relationship conflicts, anger, social difficulties, behavioural issues, self-esteem, coping with change and life adjustments. My warm, open and non-judgemental approach allows me to easily build strong rapport with my clients and make them feel comfortable and safe. I have a keen interest in client-centred approach, drawing on an eclectic framework of therapeutic interventions, with the aim of building upon the client’s strengths.
I use evidence-based techniques in my therapeutic work including CBT, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR and Play Therapy. I also have experience in administering a range of psychological and cognitive assessments to both children and adults.
My aim is to help clients to overcome the barriers limiting their sense of efficacy and achieving their goals. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their strengths and focus on helping them utilise the resources they have to meet the challenges they face. Telehealth is available via zoom, skype or phone.
