Hello! I am located in the beachside suburbs of Bayside Melbourne in a lovely small psychology practice in Beaumaris. I primarily work with children and young people under 25, however I do also provide assessment & intervention for support for adults who want support around Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and/or Tourette’s/tics. I offer a warm and inviting style of therapy, and ensure we are working together on your goals. My practice is neuro and gender affirming. Please visit www.naominewton.com for further information.
I have a special interest in anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and Tourette’s Syndrome & tics. I have trained in many models of intervention, and utilise evidence based treatment with all clients (eg. CBT, ACT). I have also undertaken further specialised training in Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tourette’s/tics (CBIT) & ERP and Inference-based CBT for OCD.

Due to the short term nature of this approach, many of my clients see me specifically for this issue whilst maintaining their existing relationship with a previous therapist to work on more general therapeutic issues. CBIT strategies are designed for you to utilise independently once consolidated in sessions.
