I have a Masters Degree in Mental Health - specialising in Art Therapy. I am a registered Art Therapist and registered Counsellor. I am a registered Victims of Crime counsellor, so people who are eligible can get 22 free sessions with me. NDIS and private health funds also provide reimbursement for your sessions with me. I have done extra training in Art Therapy interventions used to address trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression. I have worked with people of all ages, all diagnoses. I have a person-centred, strengths-based approach and see myself as a therapist who provides a conducive environment to enable the person to feel heard, gain clarity and new perspective and ultimately assist in the healing journey. I walk alongside you in this process, non-judgemental and not offering advice, as I believe you have the answers within you.
I like to help clients identify their inner strengths to face their current challenges in life. Art therapy provides a way for people to deeply understand what the root cause of their issues are and at the same time assists in revealing solutions, unique to the individual.
