I’m Maryam and I am a provisional psychologist at Aurora Allied Health. I have been working with children and adults in the social services and health sector since for a number of years. I have experience working in government public services as well as private. I’m passionate about people-centred approaches that help my clients achieve their goals, by going at a pace that feels comfortable. I like to be super flexible in sessions and endeavour to create a positive atmosphere.
My therapy approach includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Exposure therapy, Interpersonal therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed and mindfulness.
