Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I am an AHPRA registered and endorsed clinical psychologist and I have over 19 years experience in both the public sector and private setting. I practice from a holistic, empathic and humble approach and have an understanding that each client is a unique individual and treatment is tailored to meet their needs. My person-centered approach is one that facilitates a collaborative therapeutic relationship with a client/s and will assist the person to navigate through life by facilitating hope, meaning and reward in a supportive and therapeutic setting.
I specialise in working with adults but I also see primary school children and adolescents. My interests are wide & varied including eating disorders, mood disorders, complex trauma couple therapy, relationships difficulties and work place issues.
I utilise a number of techniques including ACT, CBT, Emotional Focused Therapy, Gottman Therapy, Mindfuness, DBT and Schema Therapy. I value and believe that establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship and rapport with the client/s within a respectful and empathic environment allows for a collaborative approach & facilitates personal wellness.
