Vulnerability, confusion and anxiety can be present when arriving at cross roads in life. These feelings can arise through dilemmas as to how, why and where a solution can be found. Not knowing whom to seek can also bring about feelings of isolation and fear. The desire to confide in someone who is trustworthy and willing to understand can sometimes make the difference between that of a professional or of others. My practice is one of compassion, empathy, and willingness to listen, without judgement, all in the pursuit of developing a supportive relationship. My belief that together, change can happen!
With over 5 years experience in private and public systems and with culturally diverse clientele I am able to tailor my therapy to the individual. Having completed 6 years of university study in psychology has allowed me to offer evidence based and most up to date therapy. My expertise is in trauma, and relationship and work difficulties.
While understanding the challenges of commencing or re-commencing therapy with a new clinician i feel i have the people skills to make the beginning experience one of little anxiety or stress. With my open and professional attitude i endeavour to make the initial contact a pleasurable one.
