Hi, I’m Maria. I am an Art Therapist and Counsellor with over 14 years of experience. I am dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey towards self-discovery and emotional well-being. I offer a trauma-informed, non-judgmental, inclusive, and warm space for you to be yourself and discuss any topic you like. Guided by your needs, I support you in understanding and addressing areas that require change.
At times, the thought of speaking about the most painful things in your life may feel overwhelming. Engaging in art therapy allows your body to 'speak,' helping you to make sense of your past and your present experience. Art materials enhance therapy by providing soothing, grounding, exploratory, and cathartic experiences.
I provide face-to-face sessions in Melbourne and extend this service to include home visiting for NDIS participants in the Bass Coast and Mornington Peninsula areas. I travel to you, providing therapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home. For those who prefer or require remote sessions I can also provide phone and video sessions.
