Madeleine Leach - Provisional Psychologist works with children and teenagers utilising evidence-based therapies to help manage neurodevelopmental diagnoses, mental health conditions and everyday challenges. She is experienced working with children and teenagers experiencing anxiety, depression and mood issues, autism, ADHD, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem/confidence, career and occupational concerns, stress/burnout, bullying, specific learning disorders, LGBTQI+ support, phobias, anger, sleep and interpersonal difficulties and provides parenting support.
Madeleine has worked in schools, private practice and with the Triple P Parenting and Family Support Program. Madeleine utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques. She thoroughly enjoys helping to empower clients to build their resilience, utilise mindfulness and develop effective coping skills.
Madeleine fosters a nurturing and growth-oriented atmosphere, ensuring that each client receives tailored support to overcome challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals. Madeleine holds a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences with Honours from The University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists.
