Lynda is a psychologist (clinical registrar) at the Australian Institute for Human Wellness. She has a warm, non-judgemental therapeutic style, drawing on her life experience and empathetic nature to help clients work towards achieving their therapeutic goals within the framework of evidence-based psychological therapy. Lynda completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Prior to this Lynda completed her undergraduate psychology studies at Monash University and the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), and her undergraduate science degree at the University of Wollongong.
Prior to completing her psychology studies, Lynda spent many years working in a corporate environment and has experienced first-hand the benefits and challenges associated with making a career transition. Lynda provides both individual and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults across education, private and hospital settings.
Lynda has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy (ST) and has utilised her skills to support clients experiencing a range of psychological difficulties. She has particular interest in perinatal and parenting issues.
