I relish the opportunity to work with teens and young people aged between 8 to 25 years old and their families. My approach is a blend of Counselling, Mentoring and Coaching and I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I use outreach (I come to you) as a tool to help connect and I like walking and talking sessions. I am very passionate about working and collaborating with young people and believe that early intervention is key to positive outcomes. Counselling doesn’t have to be done in a chair in an office. Lukas Winward Counselling uses an active approach and finds that physical activity like walking and talking, shooting a basketball, kicking a footy can be very effective.The body naturally releases endorphins when you are moving and physical activity is an important step to create positive change.
We’ll start with an initial 15 min FREE consultation, so that we can get to know each other and get a feel for whether we would make a good team. If we both feel it's a good match we'll schedule in your first session where we’ll talk about the challenges you are facing now in your life and your objectives.
