I enjoy working with individuals of all ages seeking to think together about and make sense of their experience and how this has come to shape who they are, their relationships and their way of being in the world. This approach may be helpful for people experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety; difficulties in relationships; issues relating to past trauma, grief & loss; difficulties arising from childhood experiences; or difficulties with adjustment/transition to life events. I also enjoy supporting parents in understanding their child's emotions, addressing parenting challenges, and strengthening the parent-child relationship.
I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process between patient and therapist, focusing on deepening emotional understanding of sometimes life-long patterns of thinking, feeling, and experiencing that shape the way we experience and understand ourselves, others and the world around us. It is a treatment approach uniquely tailored to the individual.
I offer a confidential, safe and holding environment allowing for a healing conversation to occur with the aim of developing self-understanding and deepening insight into emotional difficulties.
