Lisa Palmer is a Counsellor and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) who provides a gentle and supportive approach to counselling. Lisa provides counselling to children, adolescents and adults who may be experiencing a range of difficulties including; depression, anxiety, stress, parent-child relationship difficulties, grief and loss, workplace issues, post natal depression, PTSD and complex trauma.
Lisa has extensive clinical experience in working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma (abuse) and has worked in this area for over 20 years. Lisa is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. Lisa spends time getting to know you and the the difficulties impacting on your health and well-being.
Lisa provides a safe and welcoming environment to explore any difficulties impacting on your well-being. She is caring and compassionate and knows how difficult it can be taking that first step to reach out and get help. Sessions can be provided Face to face, or Online (zoom), and telephone counselling in the comfort of your own home are provided.
