Embrace The Power Of Doing Nothing. Welcome to Lazy Therapy, where doing nothing is doing everything. Here, we embrace the "lazy" approach, allowing thoughts and feelings to exist without interference. Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), known affectionately as "lazy therapy" redefines the traditional notions of effort and engagement in the therapeutic process. Instead of exhaustive analysis techniques, it highlights the power of observing our own thoughts without trying to forcefully change them. By embracing this seemingly "lazy" approach, individuals discover an incredible shift in their relationship with their thoughts and feelings.
My focus is on tackling depression and anxiety disorders, while also offering general counselling services. I'm here to provide personalized care using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My style is all-encompassing, holistic, trauma-informed, and specifically tailored to you, taking into account your entire self rather than just addressing symptoms.
Taking that first step to seek support is a brave and significant move. At Lazy Therapy, your courage is met with my commitment to provide you with the best support I can provide. Whether you have questions, need more information, or are ready to start, I am here to listen and to help.

Breaking The Cycle Of Overthinking. Overthinking is often at the root of common mental health issues like stress, anxiety and depression. MCT challenges ingrained beliefs about thoughts, such as the idea that "automatic thoughts matter," "worrying equals preparedness," or "rumination will resolve past issues." By questioning these beliefs, MCT helps you break free from the cycle of overthinking.
