I am an interpersonal therapist based in Fairfield and online, supporting youth and adults in individual counselling. I specialise in attachment and relationships. Relationships are a central part of our lives and can be a source of joy and connection, as well as stress, confusion and loss. Relationships include those we have with family, friends, romantic and sexual partners, colleagues and neighbours, and with ourselves. I support you to identify your relational patterns, process and heal from trauma and attachment wounds, build interpersonal confidence and set healthy boundaries.
Our connection will be the foundation for therapy - you can expect warmth, trust and authenticity. I use a strengths-based approach which means I see you as the expert of your experience and see your challenges as separate from you. I will support you to explore and make sense of the relationships in your life, including the one you have with yourself.
My goal is for clients to develop a strong sense of self in order to live from a place of integrity - the 'anchor point'. Starting therapy can be intimidating and it takes courage to embrace it.
