Dr. Laura Knox is a registered Psychologist with expertise in working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, negative self-talk, suicidal thoughts, life transitions, and relationship issues. Laura has worked with many people to help address life stressors, improve psychological health and relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Laura also works with couples to help them reconnect and realign their relationship.
Laura has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. She has a special interest in relationship issues and has completed a PhD in couple relationships. In addition to private practice, Laura conducts research into romantic relationships at Deakin University and is published in international journals.
Laura is known for her friendly, relaxed, and accepting manner. She understands how daunting it can be attending counselling, especially for the first time, and so she respects the courage and resolve it takes to make this step.
