My main focus is for the people I work with to feel comfortable and secure while receiving high quality care and support. I have over 15 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and couples presenting with a range of issues in the private and community sectors. Each person I meet is unique and I take the time to get to know them and their own individual stories and experiences. The first session also includes establishing a clear outline so the client knows what to expect and can determine their goals for us to work towards at works at their own pace.
I work with adults, adolescents and couples who may be experiencing a range of difficulties such as: Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Grief and Loss, Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I understand that starting therapy can be daunting, therefore I prioritise creating a safe and empathic environment. My role is not to judge or tell the client what to do, my role is to draw upon the strengths and values within each individual to work towards and reach their own goals.
