Drawing on trauma-informed evidence-based interventions that include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR, Kimera works collaboratively with clients towards exploring and gaining a deeper understanding of the difficulties that are brought to therapy.
Kimera believes that it takes willingness, honesty, patience, and gentleness to work on the issues that keep us from leading the lives we desire. She has an interest in working with depression, anxiety, challenges with family relationships, trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, low self-esteem, acculturation, and relationship addiction or codependency.
