I am deeply passionate about providing support to people who are experiencing challenges that are impacting on their wellbeing and their ability to engage fully in life. My aim is to provide a caring and safe environment for people as we work together on their goals, learning effective strategies and skills to be able to navigate challenges and build life long change, increasing compassion and resilience. Key elements that I bring to therapy are empathy, sensitivity, collaboration, and supportiveness.
In my work I draw on a range of evidence-based intervention strategies tailoring these strategies to best meet each person's unique needs. Central to my approach to therapy is a client centred focus that encourages people to draw on their own resources and to develop strategies that will assist them in both the short term and into the future.
I have a keen interest in how people learn and have an understanding and interest in performance and anxiety related challenges. As well as working with people with anxiety, depression, relationship and emotional regulation issues, I also work and support adults with ADHD.
