I am a registered psychologist and have also studied social work and law. I am passionate about assisting clients holistically and supporting clients to advocate for changes in their lives. I am empathetic, sensitive, respectful, open to feedback, and have a gentle sense of humour. I enjoy assisting clients to feel less distress, gain more confidence, better understand themselves, make changes, and reach their goals.
I work with people with many different and often co-occurring concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, addiction, adjustment issues, LGBTIQ+ issues, as well as grief and loss. My experience extends across various contexts including individual counselling, schools, prison & court-mandated group programs & NDIS.
My law background means I can readily understand legal issues clients may be experiencing and I enjoy providing more nuanced emotional support as my clients navigate legal processes.
