I currently work at McKinnon Psychology seeing individuals with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties and emotional dysregulation across adolescence to adulthood, and co-facilitate emotion regulation groups at Southside Health and Wellbeing. I also currently work with parents adjusting to the perinatal period with moderate to severe mental health challenges at Naamuru Parent and Baby Unit. I have previous experience working in the Perinatal Infant Mental Health Service (SLHD), Nepean Anxiety Disorders Clinic, Nepean Family Metabolic Health Clinic and Nepean Antenatal Clinic.
I have particular interest in treating the following areas • Anxiety • Perfectionism • Depression • Trauma related stressors and developmental trauma • Adjustment to perinatal period • Attachment-based concerns • Difficulties with emotional regulation • Adolescence to adulthood • LGBTQI+ community
I am a gentle and warm psychologist, allocating time to ensure that clients feel most comfortable speaking about challenges with someone new. I prefer to take an individualised stance to my support for clients, understanding that there is not a “one size fits all” approach, utilising evidence-based treatments e.g. CBT, DBT, EMDR, Schema therapy, mindfulness
