I am a trauma therapist and work with you to understand the impacts of the trauma and towards resolution of these impacts. I have a special interest in working with adults on their attachment wounding or ruptures in relationships. This might have happened during a persons childhood, however the patterns play out in intimate relationships, friendships, with work colleagues and our kids. My clients often find that their attachment patterns continue to resurface in their current relationships. They recognise that healing is not just about talk therapy, but involves deeper work and a somatic approach.
I am a trauma therapist. I have an interest in relational and attachment trauma. I work with adults to support you to learn about yourself, your boundaries, your emotions and relationships. I draw upon somatic therapies, IFS and nervous system regulation. I prioritise building a strong therapeutic relationship so that we can do deeper attachment work.
Therapy will focus on expanding the capacity of the nervous system to allow you to cope with a range of experiences. Slowing down and listening to the body allows us to process emotions without getting lost in the narrative.
