I have a post graduate qualification in counselling and Psychotherapy and specialise in Focusing-Oriented Therapy. This therapeutic approach enables us to work with your unique body's response to issues you may be facing. It will support you to manage complex situations, thoughts and feelings that can be overwhelming and unsettling, help bring clarity and relief, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Studying the Buddhist scriptures overseas for many years before beginning academic studies in the West, my interests lie particularly in integrating all aspects of your experience, connecting the issues of the mind and body, and transforming all dimensions of being in the world.
Through a long career of working with people in different capacities, I realise the importance of bringing together our different and unique skills, which may actually be in conflict with one another and causing us to feel stuck. I will provide a compassionate enquiry and a trusting, non-judgmental relationship, which will help you to move forward.
