I am a Holistic counselor and Psychotherapist specializing in Somatic therapy. I work in a 1-1 therapeutic setting, run online workshops, and facilitate women's circles and embodied movement classes. My work is aimed at helping clients unravel disempowering beliefs, painful narratives, cultural conditioning & trauma that prevents them from living a fully expressed life. I weave together the many different healing modalities I have studied over the past ten years. (Inc studies in women’s health, yoga, embodiment, counseling, somatic therapy, and psychotherapy)
Somatic Therapy is a holistic approach to healing that focuses on the mind-body connection. It recognizes that physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts are interconnected and that traumatic experiences can be stored in the body. A somatic approach to therapy helps clients to release stored trauma, develop internal awareness and emotional regulation.
Holistic Psychotherapy considers the whole person. It not only address symptoms and challenges but the underlying causes and imbalances in our lives. Offering a big-picture perspective it helps clients better understand themselves and develop self-compassion. Whilst also addressing life difficulties and making the changes they want to see in their lives.
