I provide my clients with a safe and non-judgemental space to be vulnerable, to be honest with yourself and to be brave. My experience as a psychologist has been in the public and private sector, including a specialty background of working with forensic clients (e.g., victims of crime, child protection referrals, and those who’ve been convicted of crime). I have over 7+ years’ experience in trauma-informed care with individuals and families. When I work with families, I believe in collaborating with parents to help them feel empowered in supporting their child to navigate emotional and behavioural challenges.
I use approaches that best fit your needs and circumstances. I have training in therapy models that are evidence-based to help motivate change for difficult behaviours that are stopping you from living the life you want (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Schema, CFT, Narrative). If you know the therapy modality you would like, I’m happy to collaborate with you.
Whatever stage of life you’re in, I believe that getting support for your mental health makes you brave and strong. The vulnerability of opening up to someone can seem daunting, but staying where you are might be more daunting. I’ll help you feel safe to make changes to connect with what you want your life to be and better connect with your loved ones.
