I work with a range of mental health conditions in people 18 years and over. My main interest is working with men to address their mental health and associated difficulties. These difficulties may include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship or parenting struggles. My other area of interest is in treating addictive behaviours around gaming and internet use. Helping people to learn to address their problematic behaviours has become an area that I am passionate about. This has also led to my interest in obsessive compulsive disorders which has some similar challenges for the individual.
Having worked in various mental health roles inclusive of disability support, crisis helplines and brief intervention with youths; these experiences have helped shape my therapeutic style and skill set. I like to draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
