I have many years of experience supporting people with their mental health including trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationships, parenting, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, sleep and much more. I aim to provide a positive experience within the mental health space, you will feel heard and seen, your story matters, you matter, and change is always possible.
Often use EFT or ART if appropriate. EFT a self-applied stress/emotional reduction technique using elements of cognitive therapy, and physical stimulation of acupuncture points. ART is an eye-movement approach, replacing negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of PTSD (but not limited to) with positive images of the client's choosing.
Working together, you can expect to be treated with respect, kindness and patience. Not to have to relive or share anything you do not want to or ready for. Be accepted to feel and think differently. My absolute attention, to feel heard, seen and safe. If you've lost hope, I will have hope for you there is always hope for change.
