I am a clinical psychologist specializing in perinatal mental health. I am passionate about helping people cope with difficulties related to fertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss, birth trauma, pre and postnatal anxiety, depression as well as the transition to parenting. The journey to becoming a parent can be a turbulent time and I believe parenting is one of the most demanding jobs there is. This time can also offer the opportunity for self-discovery and growth. I aim to provide a warm, respectful and non-judgmental space to allow you to feel comfortable to share, reflect and grow.
I am committed to evidence-based approaches and work predominantly from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) as well as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I used Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat post-traumatic stress associated with perinatal trauma.
