Psychological counselling focuses on emotional and psychological wellbeing and is designed to help people gain insight, clarity and perspective and find solutions using their own personal strengths. Guidestar provides a safe space for confidential psychology, counselling, assessment and support services for children, adolescents and adults. We are neurodiverse affirming and Rainbow Tick accredited. Our psychologists are registered with the AHPRA and are members of the APS or AAPi. Guidestar has a special focus on working with people with disability, mental ill health & people with dual dislabilities and their families and supporters. We are a registered NDIS provider in Positive Behaviour Support, Therapy, Specialist & Support Coordination and counselling. Our services and practice are trauma-informed & strengths-based.
