My style of practice is based on the Constructivist approach, which focuses on how every person has their own personal and unique way of attributing a sense of meaning to their experiences. Through this approach, my patients actively construe the reality they live in, rather than passively observing and being subjected to it. I am specialized in different areas such as: +Anxiety and Mood Disorders + Depression and self harm + Substance use disorders + Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) + Stress + ADHD (including diagnostic assessment) + Relationship Issues (including Couple therapy).
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and have a wide range of experience, having practiced as a Psychologist in both Australia and Italy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Personalities and Interpersonal Relationships), a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Postgraduate Specialisation (4 years) in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I enjoy helping patients to better approach distressing situations, by equipping them with the skills they need to tackle the problem in a more useful and functional way. I strongly believes in working with my patients to tailor their course of therapy based on their specific needs and way of functioning.
