Giselle has a holistic, compassionate and client-empowered approach to support clients in enacting lasting change within their lives. An individualised care plan is collaboratively developed with every client to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes. Giselle’s areas of professional interest include: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex-PTSD/Complex Trauma, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life adjustments and transitions, chronic health and chronic pain conditions and developmental conditions like ADHD. Giselle is an integrative therapist and is trained in a number of evidence-based therapy modalities.
Giselle is an Accredited Practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) with the EMDR Association of Australia, and is currently training to become a Consultant. EMDR has been established to be just as effective online as it for face-to-face therapy sessions, and can achieve significant therapeutic outcomes within a short time period.
Giselle has extensive experience working with diverse groups of people within clinical and community settings. She understands that the fit between client and therapist is vital to the therapy journey, and endeavours to help all clients feel empowered, respected and heard in the therapy space.
