I offer compassionate, theoretically informed, evidence based and creative ways to help adults, teens and children tell their story, overcome their difficulties and enhance their well-being. My training in a broad range of approaches helps me understand people of all ages as they confront the difficulties in their lives. This understanding is informed by the family and environment people live in, their early childhood experiences and the relationships they develop, their patterns of thinking and behaviour, and the stories they tell themselves about their lives.
After completing my MA in Psychology I've worked for over thirty years in public and private practice in Melbourne and overseas. My work at various clinics and hospitals including Monash and Alfred Medical Centres, as Senior psychologist on a Children’s Assessment and Therapy Services team etc enrich my skills in working with adults, teen and children.
Because I know we are all different I offer a wide range of approaches to fit the needs of clients including Psychodynamic, Cognitive-behaviour, Mindfulness and Narrative therapy. I also offer sand tray therapy, play therapy and art therapy. Many people find creative and expressive therapies provide a way to work through issues.
