I enjoy working with individuals from a variety of ages including children (as young as four years old), adolescents, and adults who are presenting for various reasons. My approach with children is fun, flexible, and engaging, and with teens I focus on listening, empathising, and validation. While my approach with adults is compassionate, genuine, and built on a shared experience.
I am an animal assisted therapist (AAT) working with a therapy dog. AAT facilitates therapy by increasing rapport, reducing anxiety, and improving mood.
