I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Yoga Teacher, Clinical Supervisor and Trauma Therapist. I recognise that healing from trauma requires a holistic and individualised approach to support both body and mind. Through a range of therapeutic modalities, individuals are supported in their journey towards recovery in a safe and supported therapeutic environment. Medicare rebates available via GP referral.
Healing from trauma can often feel overwhelming, with impacts on our body, mind and relationships. I’ve supported individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges & trauma for over 15 years My own lived experience has instilled an empathetic awareness & understanding of the pain and suffering caused by traumatic events.
I feel privileged to support both individuals, and clinicians, in their own healing journey and to provide embodied practices to support their health and wellbeing. I regularly incorporate yoga, meditation and breathwork into counselling sessions in conjunction with traditional talk therapy to provide for a holistic and embodied therapeutic approach.
