Elvan supports clients facing complex emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges, providing both short and long-term treatment options. She is dedicated to helping adults experiencing anxiety disorders, stress, anger management issues, low self-esteem, grief, depression, and trauma-related disorders. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals dealing with long-standing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, complex trauma and attachment issues. Elvan also offers support to neurodivergent people with low to moderate support needs with co-occurring conditions.
Elvan’s approach to therapy is client-centered and grounded in authenticity, warmth, transparency, and respect. Elvan enjoys guiding her clients to develop their self-awareness by identifying specific patterns, and making modifications to engage more effectively with themselves, others, and the environment.
Elvan’s practice is strongly informed by CBT and schema therapy. She also draws on other evidence-based therapies, such as DBT and mindfulness, to respond to each person’s unique needs. Elvan has a particular interest in attachment theory and trauma and enjoys exploring how early experiences shape thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns in adulthood
