Hello, I'm Diane. I've been helping people with their mental health issues for over 20 years. I can treat depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, relationships, as well as stress, life transitions, and trauma. I use a compassionate, safe, and practical approach. My additional qualifications in art therapy when combined with mindfulness, has helped many people from very different backgrounds. I have lived experience as an army veteran and humanitarian aid worker in Iraq, and am not unused to tough situations. I welcome adults, couples, young people, LGBTQIA, veterans, and seniors.
I am a great listener, with sharp perception and skills, getting straight to the issues or barriers that are holding you back. I use a practical approach (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), combined with aspects of Narrative, Person-Centred, and using metaphors and art therapy techniques to help highlight areas of concern/improvement/action.
