With an open, curious and enquiring style, I take a client-centred approach to support people who struggle with problems that affect their mental and emotional well-being. My focus is to foster a collaborative, respectful and empathic therapeutic relationship to support you with developing the insights and emotional shifts that are necessary for lasting therapeutic change. Taking a process-oriented and experiential frame, we aim toward an integration of cognitive (mind), emotional (heart) and somatic (body) levels of experiencing to achieve the transformations that support a more fulfilling life.
My primary area of focus is providing individual psychotherapy and counselling to support adults aged 18+ who are experiencing difficulties associated with trauma and complex trauma related problems; depression; anxiety; grief, loss and life transitions; lack of self-confidence or low self-esteem; and difficulties with interpersonal relating.
All of these get in the way of living a more fulfilling life. A life where distressing emotions can be managed and soothed; one that has purpose and meaning; and a life where there is internal congruence between how we think, how we feel and how we respond interpersonally and in our environments.
