Hello and welcome my name is David, and I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I often work with people who are struggling with long-term and ongoing interpersonal patterns, routed in childhood that leave them feeling unhappy, dissatisfied and unable to move forward.  I generally work with people on a longer-term basis, taking time to develop a therapeutic relationship and getting to know them beyond their presenting problems.
During therapy, I work with people helping them become unstuck by understanding their, thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are continuing to their distress. I have provided support in a range of contexts including; private practice and inpatient mental health. I work from within a Schema Therapy & EMDR framework in order to meet the needs of my clients.
