Hi, I'm Dani. I'm a Counsellor and Social Worker at Warwick Psychological Services. I work with individuals including children, adolescents, adults, couples and families presenting with various life challenges, mental health and neurodiverse conditions and relationship stressors. Through a trauma-informed, person-centred and recovery-focused lens that is nonjudgemental and free of assumptions that sees clients as the experts in their own lives, I have a calm, practical and collaborative counselling style. I also have experience running psychotherapy sessions for inpatient/outpatient groups in a hospital setting.
I use an eclectic approach drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet my clients 'Where they're at', to learn about their unique challenges, understand their goals and work alongside them as they work towards these goals.
I think life can sometimes feel like a game of Tetris. We (as people) are all doing our best to put the pieces in the right spots, however sometimes it can feel like the pieces just fall into the wrong spots, and we need some support to right the next pieces.
