Hello! My name is Dana and I am a Social Worker with a special interest in working with young people between 12-30 years-olds in managing all of the challenges of being a young adult. My background is working with young people in Out of Home Care; supporting persons with complex health conditions; and providing a safe space for young people to explore the sexuality, mental health, and learn about healthy relationships. I also have an interest in working with couples in order to help them work through the challenges in their relationships, and to help them feel connected and to communicate better.
I have 7 years experience working between the Out of Home Care and Mental Health sectors and have completed a Bachelor of Social Work. I have completed additional training in Gottman Method Couple Therapy - Level 2, suicide prevention training, eating disorders training, and more!
I offer a warm and inviting office that is located in Tamworth, and offer telehealth appointments. I will always listen to you and your experiences, and help you to utilise your strengths during your mental health journey. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help but I would be privileged to help you.
