Working primarily from a Psychodynamic Psychotherapy framework, my approach involves helping you work through your current challenges by enabling you to make sense of your difficult experiences and connect with the underlying emotions, so you can experience a changed relationship to self and others.
I am also trained in various other counselling approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and a Client Centered approach that I utilise to meet your needs. I can offer short term as well as long term therapy to address your chosen goals.
I have considerable experience working with adolescents and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds and have counselling and psychotherapy skills in working with a wide range of issues. I also have experience in providing supervision to counsellors in trauma informed practice, and have been involved with teaching and research at Universities.
