I aim to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, as well as feeling heard and valued. I work collaboratively with clients to provide guidance and assist them on their journey in becoming empowered and leading a life that is purposeful and meaning centred.
I adopt an holistic, integrative approach to counselling meeting clients with respect, empathy and authenticity. I have training in, Compassion Focused Therapy, Rogerian or a Person Centred approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy and I'm currently completing relationship training with the Gottman Institute.
I provide support to couples as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds that require support with stress, behavioural changes, decision making, non-violent communication and establishing healthy boundaries and patterns in relationships. I have also developed and presented workshops on stress and mood management.
