DBT skills are evidence based when it comes to tacking trauma and working through trauma therapy. As a DBT Coach, my responsibilities are to gently provide you with the skills required to self-regulate, tolerate distress or crisis situations and effectively communicate. I will guide you through mindfulness and teach you skills for life.
Twelve yrs experience working in Mental Health & addiction, as well as a life-time of personal experience, I am sensitive to the needs of those who are struggling to be with their emotions, work on their relationships and problem solve their issues without making their problems worse. My empathy is authentic, as I remain unconditional and non-judgemental.
