I am an experienced and compassionate counsellor with a person-centred and strengths based approach to counselling. I offer a non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood and I work on the premise that you as the client have your own innate wisdom to draw on. As such, I don't impose my ideals and beliefs onto you, but rather support you to draw on your own strengths and wisdom. I have found clients are then able to see the path before them and the steps they need to take to make the changes they are seeking.
As a Counsellor I take the time to get to know you and your personal circumstances, your strengths and beliefs and really get to the root cause of your presenting issues. I have a strong focus on personal and professional development in my own life and going deeper with every aspect of my own life, which supports my clients to do the same.
Counselling can seem overwhelming or daunting but I see it as a space for you to simply be heard and understood and an opportunity for you to get to know yourself on a deeper level and ultimately enjoy the process of connecting to you and your own wisdom.
