Empowering children's hearts, supporting parents. I am a dedicated and compassionate Play Therapist using Child-Centred Play Therapy, an approach that is backed by neuroscience and is strictly evidence-based. I specialise in working therapeutically with parents and their children of 2-9 years old towards their full potential. I recognise the importance of facilitating parents with their involvement in the child's therapy by helping them through parent coaching and counselling. I have a special interest in integrating this in therapy with Neurodivergent children and children with other developmental issues.
At Child Play Therapy, I provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families who are experiencing varied developmental, social, emotional and physical difficulties and/or disabilities. My goal is to contribute to the health of our community - working in collaboration with educators, health professionals and varied organisations.
I aim to support you as a parent and your child by addressing emotional and psychological well-being goals inclusive of your individual needs and wishes as a family. The therapeutic approaches I use to create individualised interventions are underpinned by the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics developed by Dr Bruce Perry.
