I am passionate about empowering adults, children, adolescents and their families to tackle the issues they are facing. I particularly enjoy working with teenagers and young adults! I have discovered that I also enjoy working with neurodivergence. Some of the issues I typically work with include anxiety, depression, school refusal, school reluctance, stress management, anger issues, grief, family breakdown, social and emotional concerns, self-harm, suicidal thinking and parenting strategies.
I have been in Private Practice for over 8 years. Prior to this, I have worked in primary and secondary schools, as well as in community settings. I primarily use an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) modality, but also use traditional CBT, narrative therapy and Positive Psychology strategies where appropriate.
Everyone is unique, and I am committed to working with clients to discover the strategies that work best for each person. I would love the opportunity to help you or your loved one thrive.
