I work from a place of respect and compassion to help you overcome challenges such as: trauma and loss, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, fertility issues, pregnancy loss, sexual difficulties such as vaginismus and erectile dysfunction, alcohol and substance abuse, worry, low mood, negative thinking, narcissistic abuse, difficulty finding a partner, and navigating major transitions in life. Whatever the cause of your concern, my primary goal is to support you in feeling better.
My approach is warm and authentic and grounded in developing a good relationship with my clients. I believe in tailoring evidence-based practice to the needs of the individual as we work together to create lasting change. I draw on a variety of therapies including CBT, mindfulness-based therapy, schema therapy and solution-focused therapy.
I understand that seeking therapy can be a confronting process so I'm happy to have a free phone or email chat to answer any questions you may have and to give you a sense of whether I am the right fit for you. I welcome people of all identities and cultural backgrounds. A rebate of $128.40 is available with a Medicare referral for up to 20 sessions per year
