Understanding how you experience the world is central to my work as a therapist. I am interested how feelings and thoughts can manifest in our bodies. Gentle exploration of these somatic responses can assist in deeper understanding of our emotional world. Working together, I would support you toward your self-acceptance of challenging thoughts and feelings. Alongside my private practice, I work with a national not-for-profit supporting parents experiencing antenatal and postnatal anxiety, depression and adjustment to parenthood - as a spokesperson, managing clinical intake and clinical writing.
My background in Creative Arts enables insight and empathy into the specific challenges of this industry. I work to support expectant & new parents in this time of transition, also those querying gender & sexuality. Clients experiencing grief and loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression & other life transitions will be supported with compassion.
I recognise the courage it can take to seek support or to walk into a therapy room or click into a video session. I offer you compassion and non-judgemental acceptance. By allowing yourself time to share in a confidential space, you can explore aspects of your life that you may not feel you can share with others, or want to work through before you do.
